Under the general direction of the Compensation Manager, the Senior Compensation Analyst administers and implements compensation programs, initiatives and activities. Serves as a project leader on compensation assignments or projects. Provides consultative services to HR Partners and HR Payroll Analysts, supervisors, managers, and administrators on a wide-range of compensation matters including selection of appropriate job descriptions, new hire offers, compensation strategy, utilization of overloads, reclassifications and internal promotions, internal/external benchmarking data, market adjustments, bonuses, job postings, compliance with legal regulations and university policies and procedures, etc. Responsibilities include overall job analysis and evaluation, wage and salary programs, and merit and performance management programs.

Minimum Education: • BS in Business Administration or related field required. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience • 2+ years of Healthcare Human Resources experience • HRIS experience a plus • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Proficient verbal and written communication skills • Capable of communicating with all levels of employee-administrative to staff • Critical thinking skills. Required License/Certification: • HR Certification (SHRM) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred. • Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
