Ferguson has a great opportunity open in Finance for a Senior Manager - Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis ! This role will provide financial and data analysis to help lead and support consolidated planning and forecasting, with an emphasis on capital management and long-term strategic modeling.

The position will assist with consolidated financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting along with ad hoc business modeling. It will also perform consolidated reporting and conducts analysis of performance, variances, and trends. The position reports into the Senior Director - Corporate FP&A.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare and review monthly consolidated forecasts, including balance sheet and cash flow projections.

  • Develop financial models to support business decisions and long-term planning.

  • Assist in preparing and delivering recurring reporting and insightful analysis to senior management.

  • Prepare and effectively communicate financial information to executive level leadership.

  • Review and understand performance trends to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to promote accurate forecasting and efficient processes.

  • Support building linkage between strategic, business and financing planning.

  • Handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with high degree of quality.

  • Provide leadership and supervision to set priorities and coach and develop associates.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and other assignments as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant and progressive experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and finance overall.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Data Analytics or related field.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related subject area preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365, especially Excel.

  • Experience with Power BI, Oracle planning tools and Essbase reporting preferred.

  • Superior analytical skills to resolve sophisticated financial issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence others through excellent communication skills.

  • Driven by outcomes, with a track record of success in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
