We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition (TA). This is a full-time position that will be primarily remotely based with travel involved as needed.

The Senior Manager of TA will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by attracting top talent. This position is responsible for leading a team of recruitment professionals and collaborating closely with division leaders to develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies. A primary focus will be ensuring world-class recruitment processes are utilized and align with Hagerty-s mission, values, and business objectives. The role carries the responsibility for leading executive, strategic, or highly specialized niche searches.

The responsibilities of the Senior Manager TA include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Recruitment Planning: Develop and implement TA strategies aligned with company goals and industry best practices; streamline the end-to-end process for efficiency and transparency.

  • Collaboration with Internal Clients: Work closely with division leaders, providing guidance, industry knowledge, and market data.

  • Data-Driven Approach: Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess recruitment effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Partnership Development: Build relationships with institutions and organizations to enhance recruitment.

  • Campus Recruiting: Implement a campus recruiting program for early identification of talent and enhance Hagerty-s recognition at key schools.

  • Employer Branding: Keep Hagerty-s brand front of mind and brainstorm ways to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.

  • Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively maintain a pool of qualified candidates for immediate and future needs.

  • Team Leadership: Identify and develop team talent; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Candidates for the Senior Manager TA must possess the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor-s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Ten to twelve (10 to 12) years of progressive TA experience, and more than five (5) years of experience managing TA teams in a fast-paced environment. Recruitment experience in consulting and familiarity with the emergency management industry are preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing recruitment-related data, applicant tracking systems, and direct sourcing tools.

  • A proven track record in designing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and delivering outstanding candidate experiences, as well as success in process improvement and automating various aspects of the recruitment process.

  • A strong understanding of recruitment-related labor laws and compliance, as well as current trends, best practices, and technologies in the talent acquisition space.

  • Proficiencyin a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), as well as talent acquisition systems.

  • Agility and a solution-oriented mindset striving to solve problems creatively and achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence in all internal and external interactions; executive presence and a strategic focus.

  • Solid time management skills and the ability to multi-task; able to prioritize to meet deliverables and associated timelines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong negotiation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of talent acquisition, ensuring accuracy and precision in processes and documentation.
