In this exciting role your primary objective will be to provide leadership and direction for the development and implementation of programs and systems to assess and comply with international, federal, state and local environmental regulations, company policies, strategies, initiatives and goals.

The Senior Global EHS Program Manager – Systems is part of the Medtronic Global EHS Team and serves as the Sustainability and Compliance Systems - Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be supporting Medtronic’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) strategy including implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of corporate EHS&S Data Systems. This role will also serve as the SME for EHS&S information analytics and metrics reporting.

This position reports to the Global EHS Director - Systems & Services and works with other functional SMEs across the company on the development, implementation, and verification of environmental standards and systems.

A Day in the Life

The Senior Global EHS Program Manager – Systems position:

  • Maintains enterprise wide EHS&S data management Systems as Central Administrator. This includes implementation at corporate, business unit and user levels.

  • Provides training to all company users on those systems and provides support and executes continuous improvement analysis and activities to ensure ongoing excellence of the platform(s).

  • Designs, implements, and leads enterprise systems and activities for EHS&S performance metrics, provide reporting (internal and external), and perform analysis by leading assigned analytics systems and resources.

  • Provides technical end-user support for the company on EHS&S data management issues and troubleshooting solutions.

  • Leads the development and implementation of information sharing platforms (EHS SharePoint, MS Teams groups, Power BI, etc.).

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or an Engineering or IT discipline.

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant multi-site experience in the deployment and implementation of EHS&S electronic management systems across a multinational organization OR an Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant multi-site experience in the deployment and implementation of EHS&S electronic management systems across a multinational organization.

  • Relevant experience with Power BI, MS Office Suite, EHS&S Information Systems and experience in creating dashboards, compiling data and reports, and data analytics associated with EHS electronic management systems.

  • Ability to travel globally up to 25% of the time.

Nice to Have:

Priority will be given to applicants who have education, experience, and/or certifications in the following areas:

  • 5 years project management experience including strong influence management.

  • Experience working in Enabalon.

  • Proven track record of strong project management performance with experience driving. multi-phase projects to completion including diverse project teams and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership, teambuilding, and influence management skills.

  • Proven technical, problem solving, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and training skills.

  • Ability to discern and appropriately communicate sensitive issues.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to diverse work locations.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
