To strengthen our team in Zhangjiagang , we are looking for you as a(n) Sr. Process Engineering Engineer 1.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the feasibility study for certain process engineering area like emission treatment (off-gas, wastewater and waste solid), compliance or de-bottlenecking triggered process improvement, the study is mainly as following while not limited to:
study and introduce new technology, technical solutions;
conduct process simulation if needed;
clarify and align with operation team for the operational feasibility;
make selection according to the process and operational feasibility, and economical calculation with perspective of CAPEX and OPEX;
align with the output with management team if needed
Lead to prepare the FEED process package for project execution which including new technology selection, process simulation, PFD, mass and energy balances sheet ;
Provide necessary inputs from process engineering side during project HAZOP study and Wacker Safety Analysis like simple process simulation for different failure scenario (like fire case), hydraulic calculation;
Communicate with Germany process experts as window person for the common technical issues;
Provide technical support during start-up including "trouble-shooting";
Search actively for opportunities to improve process engineering;
Qualifications Required:
Educational background:
Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering or chemistry;
Over 5 years working experience in chemical industry or engineering company (engineering for chemical companies/chemical plants);
Over 2 years working experience in process engineering related area.
Skills:
Familiar with chemical process engineering tools like ASPEN;
Familiar with chemical unit operations, equipment and machinery used in chemical industry;
Knowledge of relevant legislation, official specifications, regulations and technical instructions;
Effective communication skills in English (oral and writing) are expected;
Strong and effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
Good organizational and analytical abilities;
Strong spirit of teamwork;
Willingness to continuously build knowledge and broaden skills;
High flexibility, high sense of responsiveness, open mindedness
