U.S. Marine Corps SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in United States

Summary You will serve as a SUPV FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration: formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budgets before higher officials. You will perform or advise on work in systems development or maintenance of the Marine Corps' Integrated Personnel and Pay System and its Family of services and accounting interfaces. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will plan work, set priorities and schedules and work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work. You will draft system requirements, process guides, test plans, approve output, develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing continuing program/budget execution reviews, analyses and appraisals of major operating and support programs while designing or leading cost or budget model development. Education Additional Information This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
