Your Responsibilities as a Program Manager- Sustainability: Lead and manage a consulting team and be responsible and accountable for the quality of client deliverables Provide thought leadership to the internal team, and externally to clients and stakeholder (including but not limited to writing blogs, giving presentations, and speaking at industry conferences) Lead ESG projects and manage project budgets. Projects include ESG and Climate reporting (GHG reporting assurance and GHG Inventory development) and target setting (SBTi and Net Zero) Report to the ESG Director and develop program growth strategy Maintain knowledge of existing and evolving ESG concepts and frameworks, including GRI, ISSB, UN SDG, EU CSRD Travel approximately 10-20% What we're looking for: BS in Sustainability, Climate change accounting, Environmental Science, or other related field 8-10 years of experience with ESG consulting Demonstrable experience in managing and leading a team of project managers and consultants Demonstrable experience in ESG, sustainability, and decarbonization. Including a good understanding of ESG frameworks, such as GRI, ISSB, UN SDG, EU CSRD Have a good understanding of GHG emissions/climate change reporting standards/frameworks such as: The GHG Protocol, SBTi, EU CSRD, GRI, ISSB, and Relevant experience in GHG/ESG assurance in line with ISO 14064-3, ISAE 3000 (revised) and AA1000 assurance standard Knowledge of existing and evolving ESG concepts and practices across sectors/geographies such as: climate risk assessments; materiality assessments; Life Cycle Deep understanding of changing ESG reporting landscape in the US and the EU Excel in leading project delivery - delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment Good written and oral communication and presentation skills. Present complex information across management practices, and data collection methodologies to key decision makers at clients Track record of strong collaborations including knowledge sharing of experience and information; supporting others in the pursuit of team goals Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
