Team Lead, Content Specialist (Spanish)

HighPoint professionals focus exclusively on helping government agencies and companies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Team Lead, Content Specialist – Spanish contributes to HighPoint by managing Medicare product workflows to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Medicare product translations to internal and external clients and stakeholder partners. The team lead acts as the backup for the manager as needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Create, edit, and revise Content and Training products related to all lines of business for programs in Spanish.

  • Gather responses and feedback from internal partners and call center service representatives about Content products.

  • Ensure that Content products align with the most current regulatory guidelines and contain accurate terminology.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with other functions to ensure accuracy of products and projects.

  • Ensure that all contact information for Medicare administrative contractors, fiscal intermediaries, and partners is up to date and accurate.

  • Take complex programs and use technical information to create Content products that are easy to understand by using plain language styles and standards.

  • Ensure that all changes and comments from the client and internal partners during product development are accurately captured and logged in the workflow tool within the internal operating procedure’s specified time frame.

  • Manage and prioritize daily workload to ensure all client deliverables are met on time.

  • Collaborate with other Content team members and internal partners throughout the product development life cycle.

  • Effectively use Microsoft Office software, SharePoint, Adobe, and internal reporting tools.

  • Lead projects, including driving leadership-level decisions and initiatives down to project teams.

  • Document processes and procedures for the editorial team by creating job aids and standard operating procedures and updating when necessary.

  • Provide clear, timely communication regarding issues, opportunities, barriers, and project risks to all levels and groups.

  • Act as a key contributor and a leader on the team to ensure products align with internal standards.

  • Have and maintain subject matter expertise on the content and purpose of Medicare and Marketplace products (Parts A, B, C, and D).

  • Maintain inventory of Medicare and Marketplace products.

  • Train and mentor content specialists on processes and procedures.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be fully literate in Spanish.

  • Basic knowledge of call center environment preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of Medicare and Marketplace preferred.

  • Must be fully bilingual and have mastery knowledge of English and Spanish vocabulary, spelling, and grammar rules.

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Latin culture.

  • Ability to interpret and translate highly technical information from English to Spanish in Content products that is understandable to Spanish-speaking customers and end users.

  • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products with a focus on MS Excel and MS Word (5 - 7 years).

  • Basic understanding of project management principles (1 - 3 years).

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, and legal documents in English and Spanish.

    EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or 10 years combination of education and experience.

  • Supervisory or management experience is a plus.
