Job Description
The Technical Product Owner - Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring their product delivers maximum value to our customers and the business. They accomplish this by collaborating with Product Managers who define the strategy and vision of products and working closely with a development team to translate and break down that vision into deliverable items that bring value to schools across the country. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future.
Job Responsibilities
Manages and prioritizes the team’s backlog for their product
Translates Product Manager’s vision and strategy into stories for a development team
Understands the needs of their stakeholders and uses that understanding to break down and prioritize work
Collaborates with Product Manager to make decisions on what goes into product
Carries out product strategy within department
Demonstrates commitment to timelines
Understands the product in detail
Leads focus group discussions with stakeholders to elicit feedback on solutions
Provides demos and communication of direction to stakeholders
Will be asked to provide product expertise into the Launch process
Works with other product owners to ensure consistency across products
Utilize accepted Agile practices
Collaborate on customer-facing product documentation.
Access Infinite Campus production customer data and production data in public test adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines
Other related duties as assigned
Desired Background
BA/BS Degree
8+ years industry-related product experience and/or product analyst or product owner experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Technical competence, particularly in the area of relational database management systems and web-based software applications
Documented track record showing solid leadership and facilitation from project inception to project completion
Performance Expectations

Position must adhere to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.
