Position Summary

The AST Testing Services Account Manager (TSAM) drives laboratory and product/package testing revenue and margin growth from Regional Customer Account base within the Americas. The TSAM is responsible for building strategic partnerships with key accounts while selling the value of STERIS’s laboratory and product/package testing service offerings. The TSAM will effectively negotiate with Customers’ procurement, executive, and legal teams to secure long-term processing agreements for multiple, complex products across diverse Regional Customer supply chains.

What you will do with us:

  1. Negotiates and executes complex contractual agreements, leveraging exceptional communication and negotiation skills to secure long-term testing commitments. Effectively navigates intricate legal, financial, and business considerations while analyzing financial models, conducting in-depth cost-benefit analyses, and crafting contractual provisions that optimize value for both the Customer and STERIS. Ensures that the agreements align with the goals and objectives of both parties, fostering sustainable partnerships that deliver long-term benefits.

  2. Sells laboratory and product/package testing services associated with STERIS’s radiation and gas contract sterilization offerings.

  3. Evaluates account performance against established objectives and identifies and implements strategies and action plans to ensure achievement of sales plan.

  4. Educates Customers on the technical and scientific aspects of the testing services offered.

  5. Collaborates with Operations, Quality, Technology, and Marketing teams to conduct One Team One Goal Customer Meetings that demonstrate the value of STERIS and improve the Customer experience.

  6. Consistently assesses laboratory market, dynamics and potential opportunities. Prepares and provides monthly and quarterly business updates and reports.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 Successful Years of Selling Technical products and services

Pay range for this opportunity is $90,000 - $100,000. This position is eligible for bonus.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company’s 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
