Role Summary:
The VP, Information Technology/CISO reports to Radial’s Chief Technology Officer and serves a central role for strategic, cost-effective, secure, and high-quality delivery of new and existing IT services to Radial. The position is accountable to the CTO and ensures the reliable operation of the overall IT back-office and client facing IT environment and supports the portfolio of business applications.
The position has accountability to Radial leadership for maintaining a risk-managed, regulation compliant, and appropriately secure and available IT environment. Develops and establishes annual budgets, plans, operating policies, IT organizational best practices and approaches for all information technology channels. Ensures IT resources are allocating their time and resources efficiently to meet technology demands and other strategic initiatives.
This position plays a key leadership role in guiding Radial towards the realization of full adoption and value from IT investments and assets. The VP, Information Technology will be a change agent who is results oriented and can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and business acumen. The individual will have a strong track record in the development and execution of a forward-looking vision and approach to information technology that yields maximum value from IT investments.
The VP, Information Technology will spend 70% of their time on development of strategy, support of the IT model, vendor management, and supervision of IT, and 30% of their time on hands-on technology management for network, databases, systems engineering and access . The VP, Information Technology/CISO will manage an internal team and external agencies/vendor partners. The candidate must be results oriented, a strong collaborator and communicator, and developer of talent.
Responsibilities:
P&L Responsibility for Information Technology functions, adhering to disciplined cost control and effective use of company resources.
Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes. Monitor progress manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Review ongoing performance of department staff and participate in their development programs to provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills while ensuring appropriate succession planning for the Technology functions.
Direct the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet the information management needs of the corporation, including the review and assimilation of systems operations of new acquisitions.
Establish computer information system policies, standards, practices, and security measures to assure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard the continuity and available
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
Attainment and maintenance of nationally recognized information security and risk management credentials is preferred (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC).
10-15 years of demonstrated performance in the Information Technology field with a minimum of five years progressive experience in information security program leadership roles in highly regulated industries.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with the senior leaders in an organization is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to influence and communicate with impact to all types of audience; ability to present effectively at the “C” level.
Excellent leadership skills including the ability to develop vision, set strategy, lead direct and indirect reports, and coordinate cross-organization support.
Thorough knowledge of information technology including hybrid cloud environments, virtualized computing systems, network operation systems, cyber security, PCI, and information privacy and security.
Excellent analytical and research skills necessary to understand and interpret for senior leaders, and all levels of the organization, information security-related risk, regulations, and industry standards
Experience in IT financial management and budget forecasting, with a successful track record of direct responsibility in managing annual IT budgets.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing human capital: recruitment, motivation, coaching, development, and employee engagement.
