V&V /Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer III (Pomona, NJ)
Duties to be Performed: Support Development Test (DT) and Operational Test & Evalution (OT&E) of a new web-based automated traffic count system used to calculate, model, validate & analyze operations at FAA ARTCC, TRACON/ATCT & other facilities. Develop/Review Test Plans Qualifications - Minimum Required: 10-15 yrs relevant Exp & Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Physical Sciences, Comp Sci, Info Sys/Technology, Engineering, Business Admin, Finance or other related/relevant discipline); sub 5 yrs relevant exp for Bachelor's and 3 yrs & Bachelor's for Master's SDLC Experience w/Agile Methodologies; Detail and Team-Oriented; Ability to Communicate technical info orally and in writing for a wide audience. Previous Experience Required: Developing or Testing systems/GUIs to verify requirements & validate tasks, functions and queries. Reviewing/analyzing program requirements, helping identify risks and mitigation strategies, supporting meetings and discussions with stakeholders; developing/peer reviewing Test Plans, Reports & documentation; knowledge of air traffic concepts and FAA T&E Processes a plus AS&T is an EOE/AA Disability/Veteran AS&T is committed to providing a work environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment in any form.
