IHG Food and Beverage Director - Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam

As Director of Food & Beverage , I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

  • Develop and manage the food and beverage budget, including revenue and expense forecasting, cost controls, and financial reporting.

  • Design and implement menus that meet the needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions of customers and guests.

  • Oversee food and beverage ordering, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and optimal pricing.

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate food and beverage staff, servers, and bartenders.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of food and beverage service procedures and standards that ensure high-quality, efficient, and consistent service.

  • Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, including training staff on safe food handling and storage practices.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events that drive F&B revenue.

  • Stay up-to-date with food and beverage industry trends, new product developments, and emerging technologies that can improve F&B operations.

  • Establish purchasing practices that meet the requirements of the Six Senses nutrition and sustainability platforms.

  • Constantly assess Menus and Wine Lists to remain relevant and in line with Eat With Six Senses and sustainability practices.

Requirement:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4 or more years related experience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Diploma in Catering or Business and more than five years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful food and beverage programs that meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high levels of performance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
