What you’ll do:
As EMEA Business Development Manager you will be involved developing opportunities in the new wave of electrification Nordic and EMEA markets with top-end Medium Voltage (MV) Eaton products.. You will be responsible for meeting sales objectives and drive growth of the Utilities and Renewables segments. You will support market expansion initiatives and will be involved in identifying and developing product-market combinations, creating and executing the segment growth-map. You will provide the necessary customer application and specification expertise driving specifications towards Eaton solutions in order to position Eaton as a successful supplier for this segment.
Create and execute segment growth-map together with Segment-team, Country Sales Organizations and Business Unit by gathering and collecting market & customer needs
Promoting capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages of Eaton
Driving tendering process by providing system design assistance and application support
Optimizing customer designs by supporting with product selection, layouts, competitive comparisons, elevation drawings and system configurations
You will host designer/customer events to drive specification and getting Eaton on AVL (approved vendor list)
Contributing to marketing activities including supporting development of marketing materials, customer and channel communication, as well as trade shows and conference activities
Supporting management with key data and insights on market dynamics, for new business opportunities.
Building new customer relationships and expand existing ones
Understanding competitive environment and leverage knowledge to position and capture market share for Eaton.
Mastering Eaton’s product portfolio in MV Assemblies, MV transformers and software tools including Bid Manager (quoting tool) to provide quick responses to customers
Building and maintaining a full project pipeline and having monthly reviews with the Country organizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Extensive experience in sales or sales support role within the industry with selling experience in major projects.
Strong knowledge of distribution grids, electrical infrastructures and MV assembly and MV transformer products with its applications, and ability to read electrical drawings and specifications and knowledge of Codes and Standards.
Full focus on engaging customers to drive revenue attitude and understanding project life cycles, key stakeholders/personas is a must.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with customers/colleagues and other stakeholders with strong communications skills –both written and verbal communications in English and local languages.
Team player with flexible work-approach and integrity attitude based on facts.
Understanding of business cultures in the above-mentioned geographical area.
Readiness to travel in this role up to 50% of working time.
