Ridgeview Medical Center Physician - Gastroenterology in Waconia, Minnesota
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. The Gastroenterologist will evaluate and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and ensure appropriate follow-up care. This role will also monitor the progress of patients and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Principle Responsibilities Provides direct care for clinical patients needing gastroenterology/endoscopy services. Develop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care Monitor the progress of patients and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and sigmoidoscopies Administer medications and treatments to patients Educate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. May provide care in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient or outpatient hospital setting. May participate in on-call rotation.
