In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, building deep application knowledge of our taste ingredients while working with the full application team to develop exciting new concepts. You’ll also support our sales and marketing teams and collaborate with technical experts to help customers bring their product visions to life. A key part of your role will be elevating our sensory analysis capabilities and deepening our understanding of the complete taste experience.

Key Responsibilities
Design new prototypes and concepts with taste solutions, such as sugar replacement, flavors utilizing the broad dsm-firmenich technical know-how and portfolio of solutions.
Strengthen the team’s sensory capabilities and coordinate internal sensory analysis.
Build the teams expertise in flavored and sugar reduced fermented dairy products and understand interactions of typical dairy ingredients (i.e. starter cultures and hydrocolloids) with taste ingredients.
Transfer technical knowledge to workable materials and tools (in collaboration with marketing team) to train the sales teams.
As part of the business team identify needs and opportunities in the market to deliver and implement solutions.
Provide solutions to customers in line with customer needs, defined via in depth customer intakes.

Reward: Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 66,505 to € 109,420 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more.
*You Bring *
A master’s degree (or comparable) in food science, sensory science, or related area(s).
5+ years’ experience in the ingredients industry industrial environment preferably with flavors and/or in in the dairy industry.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, consistently introducing innovative concepts, and resolving challenges.
Exceptional communication abilities, serving as a central liaison among globally based peers and stake holders: you collaborate and co-create both with internal business colleagues as well as with customers, aiming to bring an optimal solution to the customer.
Capable of handling multiple projects in a methodical manner and a coaching role towards colleagues in your team and in projects.
Good team spirit and service-oriented mindset.
Fluent English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
