Job Overview
Ensuring reliable power supplies worldwide! We want to continue to actively contribute to this goal with our devices and systems for network monitoring and preventive error detection. Demand is constantly increasing, which is why we are looking for embedded software developers to expand our software team at the TE site in Waiblingen (formerly Kries Energietechnik GmbH & Co.KG).

Responsibilities
Pioneering further development of our product lines
Design of new concepts, e.g. for distributed information exchange and processing
Design of new (error detection) algorithms and measurement methods
Implementation of concepts in maintainable, high-quality code
Independent maintenance and expansion of our CI/CD infrastructure
Documentation
Implementation of suitable automation tools such as B. Auto-generators
Analysis of the impact of bug reports and change requests
Bug fixes and backporting these fixes to older software versions
Integration of software modules into larger software projects
Supporting colleagues in the development of hardware-in-the-loop system tests
Providing expert input for requests from service and product management
Making changes to our existing (legacy) code base
Leading our internal training workshops
Mentoring colleagues
Maintaining and further developing a cross-product software architecture
Participation in trade fairs, conferences and workshops
What your background should look like:
At least 6 years of experience in embedded software development.
Master's degree in embedded software, computer science or electrical engineering.
Interest in trying out new approaches and technologies.
Advanced knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages.
Advanced skills in embedded software development.
Background in electronics and/or electrical power distribution (preferred).
Proven interest in power grids (advantageous).
Fluent in English and advanced German (C1) both written and spoken.
