Trinity Solar Structural Engineering Designer in Wall Township, New Jersey

Trinity Solar...recognized as a top 2022 Solar Contractor by Solar world.The Structural Engineering Designer will possess the ability to review existing structures for the addition of solar PV systems in combination with applicable conditions. Roles & Responsibilities Determine if upgrades to the structures are required for PV systems. Prepare evaluation documents for submission to the building department. Provide support to field crews when encountering unique structural conditions. Able to multitask and work on several small projects concurrently. A team player with good communication skills. Report directly to the Engineering Department director. Required Skills A working knowledge of building codes, particularly related to wood framing, is strongly desired. Working knowledge of the current versions of MS Word and Excel is required. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. Hands-on experience with RAM structural analysis software or similar programs is also a plus. Education and Experience 2-5 years' relevant experience. Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering concentration, but will consider candidates with other engineering degrees and/or relevant background experience.
