Role Description:

As Engineering and Project Management Support Profile, you will play a vital role in the early engineering development of new projects, as well as key position in supporting the sales team in the technical development of customized solutions and proposals. You will be responsible for supplying solution drafting that aligns with the company's technical expertise and performance aim, while maintaining time-efficient and cost-effective technical choices. At the same time, you will be involved in supporting the purchasing department, in collaboration with Neoceram's design office, in sourcing the right components for the different projects. All models will be generated using SolidWorks software. Depending on the opportunity and project type, occasional travel might be required.

Main Tasks:

·         Operate a variety of manual measuring equipment.

·         Generate draft 3D models of different solutions according to best Neoceram practices and based on different measurement and/or available reference resources.

·         Create technical and fabrication drawings, while collaborating with HQ design office.

·         Visualizes and illustrates concept or designs in 2D or 3D.

·         Coordinate with US sales team to ensure a clear understanding of project scope.

·         Supporting and detailing in conceptualize solutions for project quotes.

·         Select appropriate solutions based on equipment requirements.

·         Assisting in the preparation of pre-engineering drafts and cost estimates towards projects quote building.

·         Help and support US team in the management of projects, from conception to FAT and delivery.

·         Maintain and/or support to maintain accurate BOMs for all designs.

Basic Needs:

·         3 years experience in the role

·         Knowledge of SolidWorks is required: 3D modeling, 2D drawing, BOM, etc.

·         Understanding of fluid dynamic principles

·         Basic knowledge / understanding of materials (Ferrous and Non-ferrous metals, Plastics, Gaskets) and commercial solutions.

·         Basic knowledge / understanding of automation mechanical principles and automation control principles

·         ERP system understanding: BOM structure, etc.

·         Solid knowledge of use of computer tools like MS Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint (PPTX)); understanding of Gantt structure and flow charts

·         Basic knowledge/understanding of measurement principles / hand measurement tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Protractor, etc.) as well as Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) basics.

Nice to have:

·         Naturally interested in mechanics / assembling  

·         Italian and French are very useful additional language skills.

·         Additional computer soft skills

·         Advanced knowledge of measuring systems and technologies
