Crown Staffing Purchasing Coordinator in Walton, Kentucky

The Purchasing Coordinator performs the procurement process of all raw materials/components to produce finished goods while maintaining competitive pricing and quality. Performs all tasks in a safe manner observing cGMP and quality standards.Responsibilities: Oversees the material movement from vendors to manufacturing facility in conjunction with shipping/receivingInputs schedule into the ERP system.Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain accurate inventory.Reconciles physical inventory levels and adjusts errors in computation or count, and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.Establishes and/or manages vendor relations.Negotiates pricing and shipping terms with bulk chemical suppliers.Interacts with new product development team for prototype and pilot builds of new products.Creates purchase orders and invoices.Confirms shipping receipts and approves invoices.Attends production related meetings.Works in accordance with and enforce all safety regulations and Best Sanitizers’ procedures and work instructions.Qualifications: Must have excellent math skills.Microsoft office, Crystal Reports and ERP experience preferred. Accounting background preferred.3-5 years of purchasing, inventory, and cost control in a manufacturing setting required.
