INTEGRA INC Production - Day Shift, No Weekends in WALWORTH, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are adding to our 10-hour production shift. Monday through Thursday 6 am - 430 pm. If overtime is scheduled, it is usually 6 am - 11 am or 6 am - 2 pm on Fridays. It may be mandatory at our busiest times but is usually voluntary. We have upholstery production - will start training in foam area. If you have home or industrial sewing skills, we may also cross train in our sewing area. There may also be opportunities for cross training in upholstery, sub-assembly and final assembly areas. Job purpose The upholstery production employees take the wood furniture frames and components from the mill production facility and apply upholstery components to finish the final products. The work areas include cut/sew, foaming, upholstery, sub assembly, final assembly and staging/wrapping area. Duties and responsibilities Using hand tools - staple guns, spray adhesive gun, glue gun, etc. Knowledge of parts used in the manufacturing processes Learning different processes for various product lines Meet/Exceed quality standards Complete production paperwork Follow production schedule Clean/organized work area daily Wear required PPE Qualifications Hand tool experience preferred: Air wrench Air staple gun Air drill Able to learn to use: Spray adhesive gun Cutting tools Foam decompression Working conditions Production work areas may contain dust particles, fumes from different stains, adhesives and wood products used in the production processes. Exposed to hot or cold temperatures on the production floor at times, dependent on weather conditions outside. Physical requirements Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds Occasional lifting over 50 pounds with assistance Frequent bending, pushing, pulling Handling and operation of hand tools Pulling/pushing hand carts, hand trucks Safety glasses required and other PPE; depending on work area Must be able to work 10 hour shifts and overtime as scheduled.
