We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Water/Wastewater Assistant Project Manager in Long Island, NY who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running like they should. You will oversee capital improvement projects from initiation through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and post construction phases, which includes administering design, CM and construction contracts as an Owner’s Agent. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your internal and external team and our planet.As a passionate leader, you’ll take ownership of the project and leverage your people management skills to safely deliver quality projects, on schedule and within budget. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Construction Manager or Resident Engineer, with responsibility for three (3) or more phases of construction namely pre-design, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver construction projects
• OSHA 10 Certification
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• 5 years’ experience delivering wastewater and/or stormwater construction/rehabilitation projects
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
