About the Position: This position is under the control of ILSC, Supply Chain Integration Directorate, Operations Division. Responsibilities Applies inventory management and supply planning operations expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations. Plans, develops, implements, and manages effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance. Leads team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees per established workflow, and skill level and/or occupational specialization and making adjustments to accomplish the workload. Supports the weapon system manager in the development and document the supply support strategy, in applicable documentation, IAW policy and regulatory guidance. Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. Leads team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees per established workflow, and skill level and/or occupational specialization and making adjustments to accomplish the workload. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Ability to execute inventory reconciliation for components of managed weapon systems. Can execute material requirements planning for components of managed weapon systems. Can provide input into rebuild and disposal for components that are in repair programs or can no longer be used. Will be able to coordinate repair strategies to initiate component repairs. Can prepare and communicate status regarding supply availability for components managed for assigned weapon systems. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. Selectees must meet the position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics within 48 months of entrance on duty. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2 This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
