[Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of machine tools (including CNC, lathes, milling machines, boring machines and grinders) to perform progressive machining operations on a diversified line of close tolerance work (metallic and non-metallic work pieces) requiring a high degree of skill and machining techniques.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[1. Read blueprints or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, dept of cut, etc.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[2. Determine sequence of operations. Identify conformity of material requirements.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[3. Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[4. Grind and adapt tooling and attachments for special work requirements.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[5. Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[6. Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[7. Able to hold tolerances as close as .0005".]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[8. Check work to insure conformance to specifications and adjust machine or tooling for variations in materials, etc.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[9. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[10. Comply with all safety regulations.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
