Location: Readiness to work from our current location at 39 Farbiarska Street in Warsaw till the 2nd quarter of 2025, when we are opening our new facility at 105 Katowicka Avenue in Kajetany.

The Role

The Global Demand Planner is part of the S&OP team in the Supply Chain department and is responsible for forecasting demand volumes for Consumables for in-house manufactured products. The forecast is the central driver of the global supply chain planning process, triggering procurement of material components in the suppliers base and the planning of production across worldwide plants.

What you’ll do:

  • Forecasting:Maintain demand forecast in SAP for in-house manufactured Consumables for each manufacturing plant and distribution plants where stock is required. The forecasts are generated via statistical models in SAP, with the calculation launched by the planner product by product. Analysis of the forecasts and their relevance is performed in Excel. Close collaboration with various plants is key (Keene (US), Shanghai, Valence (France), among others.)

  • Master Data:Maintain the planning system in SAP, meaning defining and updating on which MI entity (plant) should the forecasts be depending on the products and supply chain structure.

  • NPI:Manage forecasting aspects of New Product Introductions and corresponding phase outs by developing and maintaining a close collaboration with the Product Divisions and Sales departments to get accurate and up to date information. Include these elements in SAP forecast.

  • Further development (6 to 12 months after start):

  • Develop link between forecasts at Supply base (plants) and sales in geographical sales Zones, one plant supplying several Zones with complex supply chain flow. Get to a Sales based forecast and aggregate bottom up to Supply sites. Develop a demand planning process that include sales in this context.

  • Develop forecasts for third party supplied product lines when applicable to improve visibility for procurement.

    What you need to have:

  • University degree in a numerical subject (Business, Economics, Engineering, Science)

  • 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Planning role in an international manufacturing company and multi-sites context

  • Deep knowledge of MRP dynamics, inventory management and Bill of Materials concept

  • Strong Excel and data processing skills, including proven track of designing planning models and tools from scratch.

  • Databases querying skills, Power query or Access knowledge a strong plus

  • ERP knowledge, SAP preferred

  • APICS or IBF certifications a strong plus

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills. Capable to present ideas and findings in a clear way, with the ability to see the big picture and dig into the detail

  • Good communication skills with various levels of seniority, including VP level

  • Independent, pragmatic and solutions orientated

  • English fluent required
