Mechanical Design Engineer

Location:

Warsaw, MZ, PL

As aMechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing new devices and improving the design of existing ones.

What you will do:

  • Create detailed designs of mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software Autodesk Inventor,

  • Create manufacturing and assembly drawings. Manage technical documentation and follow procedures for archiving CAD documentation,

  • Implement new products (PTM) in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the project,

  • Ensure the designs meet all specifications, regulatory standards, and client requirements,

  • Create Bill of Material (BOM). Prepare and place orders for details and components,

  • Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met,

  • Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics calculations,

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and ensure manufacturability of designs. Provide technical support and guidance as needed.

    What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred),

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. Experience with product development and project management is a plus,

  • Proficiency in CAD software Autodesk Inventor, finite element analysis (FEA), and other engineering tools. Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes,

  • Experience in working with various mechanical documentation within an industrial environment,

  • Manual experience to assemble designed prototypes,

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, moulding, welding, and additive manufacturing,

  • Good Polish and English skills, both spoken and written,

  • Experience with ERP software (experience with SAP will be an additional advantage)

  • Experience with Windchill or other Document Management Software will be an additional advantage,

  • Experience with JIRA and Agile methodology will be an additional advantage.
