Emerson Senior Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer in Warsaw, Poland

As a DevOps Engineer based in Warsaw, you'll join a diverse community and work as a member of one of our cross-functional Agile teams responsible for the development of new products for Emerson's Reliability Solutions department.

In this Role you will
Design, implement, and manage critical infrastructure pipelines: Source code repository (GIT), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes, Automated code analysis
Develop and maintain work automation frameworks across the entire development stack
Troubleshoot source code management and deployment issues
Provision, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual machines based on Windows, Linux, and other required operating systems.
Manage virtual machine environments using platforms like VMWare and Azure
Assist with security assessments of the critical architecture and participate in hardening it against potential attacks
Build and maintain comprehensive documentation (configuration, fixing, designs) to support the team and future iterations
Work with diverse groups within Technology and IT to deliver efficient solutions that address the organization's needs

You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are outstanding at spotting and seizing opportunities. You anticipate the impact of new technologies and make vital adjustments.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a similar role
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) frameworks and techniques for work automation
Experience with managing large-scale, distributed development environments
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
B2 level proficiency in English and Polish
Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating and explaining complex technical concepts clearly, including the advantages and disadvantages of proposed solutions
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Cloud Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Azure (or other major cloud providers) and their solutions
Security Focus: Curiosity about the cybersecurity domain and a willingness to learn about security standard methodologies
Network Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience in designing and maintaining network infrastructure, including experience with Cisco or similar vendors
Code Quality and Security Tools: Experience with static code analysis tools like SonarQube, BlackDuck, Coverity, and Fortify
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Skills: Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible/Chef/Puppet
Containerization Expertise: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Monitoring and Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana
.NET Familiarity: Understanding of the .NET development framework
