Google Software Engineer II, Google Cloud, Search in Warsaw, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • Experience in working with two or more from the following: machine learning, search, assistant, ranking and recommendation, search quality, natural language processing, and data classification.

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

  • Iterate and improve the quality of search ranking based on insights gained from analyzing evaluation results and customer complaints.

  • Debug customer quality issues and support customer needs/feature requests.

  • Design search quality components and build a customizable search quality platform to fit various customer needs.
