o Days: Sunday – Thursday

"Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors, analyzer body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians orders, obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self. ?Assists physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions and codes. ?Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes."
2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke experience required
Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
AART required, Current State/District license required.
The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologistpreferred.
Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
