Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), three (30 to five (5) years of restaurant supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service skills, and be knowledgeable on restaurant procedures and practices. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for supervising the daily set up operations of dining services and the satisfaction of residents through their dining experience. Additional duties include server training, catering supervision, and cleaning of dining areas.

Qualifications:

  • Fine Dining Experience, willingness to learn, be able to work as part of a team.
  • Ensures all dining services operations are in compliance with state and federal health and food regulations.
  • Conducts training of new servers and on-going training of current servers. Monitor servers to ensure effective use and implementation of training.
  • Performs set up and break down for all catering events and ensures all functions are operated in compliance with the established policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a leader and manager of assigned positions; ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy in work performed.
  • Maintains professional presence when representing Ingleside; exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance.
  • Demonstrates skills competency in all dining supervisor responsibilities.
  • Complies with Ingleside at Rock Creek's established safety rules and practices.
