Amazon Head of Business Governance, GSO - Field Tech Operations (FTO) in Washington, District Of Columbia

The Global Sales Operations (GSO) team is looking for a Sales Operations leader to scale the Business Governance team – owning the definition, build, launch and optimization of the mechanisms that are needed to run the business referred to as the rhythm of the business. Your team will work closely with senior regional and world-wide leadership to support the strategic evolution of the business governance function, including programmatically executing the GSO monthly, and quarterly business reviews. Your team will also be responsible for coordinating and planning activities, initiatives and mechanisms that set and measure business goals and performance based on pre-determined metrics and key process indicators (KPIs).

Your team will own operational cadences, business reviews, reporting/dashboards and help dive efficiencies while accelerating mechanism adoption and continuous improvement. Partnering with the cross-functional stakeholders and leaders, you and your team will define, plan and execute strategic priorities, identify metrics to measure the performance of the organization and drive predicable cadences and mechanisms – for operations, strategic planning and delivery, goals setting and business reviews.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the definition, build, development and launch of key mechanisms designed to help govern the business and other cross-regional and cross-functional capabilities that uplift and embed best practice, efficiencies and acceleration mechanisms for scalability.

• Own operational business governance cadences such as the weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews, standard and ad hoc reporting as well as identify other efficiencies and acceleration mechanisms needed to improve business performance.

• Own driving the execution and reporting of the operational KPIs, Goals and Metrics for allocated areas

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
