Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a mid-level Information Assurance/Security Specialist with a Secret Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is hybrid: 2 days on-site at Fort McNair and other days remote per client’s requirements.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Support customer’s ability to comply with cyber security and system security requirements to safeguard sensitive data and maintain operational continuity
Support development of cyber security policies and plans to identify and respond to threats and issues in compliance with Army regulations.
Ability to present and report to client’s and contract’s senior leaderships
Manage access controls and permissions
Implement and maintain security patches and updates
Provide incident and recovery support as necessary
Achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC) for systems.
Maintain systems security data in the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS)
Support the OCIO/IMO with cyber security/IS security information to respond to taskers.
Maintain system, applications, and software to meet accreditation requirements of the RMF IAW DoDI 8510.01.
Ensure systems receive and maintain a full ATO/ATC for use on Army networks
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Current active Secret Security Clearance
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in IA, Cyber/Information Security
At least 1 year of experience year with DoD Certification and Accreditation and Cyber Risk Management (DoD RMF, NIST)
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience with eMASS Assets module in addressing vulnerability scan findings.
At least 1 year of experience in security incident handling/incident response process, methods, and coordination
Experience performing high-volume analysis of logs, network, and system data
Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) (preferred)
Certifications Required:
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or associate)
Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) and CSSP Auditor
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (red), Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) (blue), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) and IAM II
Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) /Governance, Risk, and Compliance (CGRC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), (or associate) or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC).

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
