Summary The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to coordinate the Department's efforts in carrying out its core mission of combating terrorism and protecting national security. NSD is responsible for supervising the enforcement of all federal criminal laws related to counterterrorism and counterespionage except for those specifically assigned to other divisions. A Management & Program Analyst, at full performance level, will perform duties such as but not limited to: Analyzing existing oversight programs using qualitative and quantitative techniques, makes recommendations to improve processes. Preparing analyses for senior executives regarding the impacts of proposed legislative changes to existing reporting requirements. Developing, preparing or justifying resource requests for oversight programs using a variety of statistical techniques. Developing policies and procedures regarding the tracking of case records and other types of data. Compile program-related information, often on short notice, for management and integrate such information into regular reports for Congress. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the position of Management & Program Analyst (Intelligence) at (GS-0343-12/13), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information). To Qualify for the Management and Program Analyst GS-0343-12, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing analysis of programs related to case management support for organizational business operations. To Qualify for the Management and Program Analyst GS-0343-13, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing governing procedures and standards related to case management support for organizational business operation.
