HarmonyTech Senior DevOps Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia
HarmonyTech, Inc., is seeking an DevOps Engineer who will work with the different teams in an agile environment to design, facilitate and implement CI/CD solutions on-prem and in future cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will administer CI/CD pipelines to define and measure KPIs and drive continuous improvements, assist with managing the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment, guide adherence to development and security standards across the organization, and develop and document best practice recommendations.
Position requires U.S citizenship and Active Federal Government Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
Extend the use of DevSecOps by providing direct application team support
Develop and maintain DevSecOps processes, including continuous testing, integration, and deployment processes
Work in an agile environment and apply strong understanding of the agile methodology leveraging IBM Rational Team Concert
Collect and analyze service data for improved performance
Develop and maintain documentation, including training materials
Required Skills
At least 10 years of IT experience successfully leading projects ranging in scope and complexity
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer implementing CICD process for enterprise grade apps
Experience with the IBM Jazz Rational suite for ALM
Two (2) years of experience leading a small to mid-size IT teams
Four (4) years of experience with computing languages such as C, JAVA, .NET Languages, PowerShell
Four (4) years of experience working with web servers such as Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere
Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube
Experience with enterprise system monitoring technologies such as Splunk, including report and dashboard creation
Experience with DevOps testing technologies such as Selenium and IBM Rational
Understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to design reports, and strong analytical skills
Desired Skills
IBM Certified Specialist – Rational Team Concert
Familiarization with operational management tools such as SolarWinds, SonarQube, Artifactory, ServiceNow, AppScan and Qualys
Experience supporting Federal Government Customers
