Job Description
BAE Systems Intelligence division is searching for a Senior ICAM Database Administrator to join us supporting an IT effort with the FBI located in Washington DC.
As a Senior ICAM Database Administrator, the expectation is to design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases. Maintains database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain ICAM-related databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain database security measures in accordance with FBI standards.
Support the integration of database systems with ICAM tools and applications.
Generate reports and perform data analysis to support ICAM operations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
In order to be successful in this position must possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
7 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on ICAM systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and other relevant database technologies.
Experience with database security and encryption techniques.
Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with FBI or similar federal databases is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Enjoys learning new skills and finding ways to improve systems performance and efficiency and proposing improvements.
Flexible to changing priorities
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
