E and B Paving, LLC, headquartered at 286 W 300 N, Anderson, IN 46012, phone number: +1 765-643-5358, is looking to fill five (5) Laborers positions from 04/01/2025 to 11/30/2025. This is for full-time, Peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Workers will realize various tasks, such as preparing construction materials and loading and unloading asphalt, gravel, and other materials. Workers may use shovels, brooms, or other tools to clean the work and remove debris before performing paving operations. Workers will also use hand tools and equipment such as rakes, shovels, and tampers. Workers will distribute and compact asphalt materials. Workers will assist the paving crew to facilitate a smooth workflow, including helping with the layout and alignment of pavement. They will also assist in repairing and patching existing asphalt surfaces by filling cracks and potholes. Perform basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment and report malfunctions to the supervisor. Workers will Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively. Workers will monitor the quality of work and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor. Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team. Workers will also Direct traffic around work areas as needed and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents. Special Requirements include: A previous experience of (3) months of experience in road/highway construction or related is preferred. Workers must be able to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical activities. Workers must have good physical condition to work outside for extended periods. Workers must be able to withstand exposure to various weather conditions. Workers must be able to follow instructions and communicate with teammates. Workers must understand and adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Workers may be required to have a drivers license.

The pay rate is $23.23 per hour, with overtime available at $34.85 per hour, based on the hourly rate. 40 hours per week from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

, Monday to Friday (Occasional work on Saturdays). Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 152 S 200 W Washington, IN 47501 and will service clients within the Southern Indiana nonmetropolitan area, Evansville, IN-KY, Central Kentucky nonmetropolitan area, BLS/MSA including the counties of Crawford, Davies, Martin, Dubois, Pike, Gibson, Orange, Greene, Lawrence, Jackson, Warrick, Vanderburgh, Harrison. The employer provides transportation to and from all workstations.

A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. The pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Employer will provide assistance in locating and securing housing. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers will be reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonably common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per ay with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
