LMI Aerospace Planner in Washington, Missouri
Summary
Perform responsibilities necessary to generate and update all production planning.
Position Responsibilities:
Generate all production planning documentation per customer specifications, engineering documents and models.
Generate manufacturing planning for rework work orders when needed.
Maintain manufacturing planning stays current and updated.
Generate, submit and track engineering questions to customers.
Coordinate customer responses with appropriate departments.
Validate outside vendors are approved to customers specifications.
Maintain part configuration by reviewing customer change notices, revision changes and PO changes.
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) from customer engineering requirements.
Review customer specifications and engineering requirements to ensure all processes and procedures are being met.
Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Experience
High School Education or GED. Associate degree preferred but not required.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP system, CATIA/NX or similar engineering software.
Experience in CNC machining and quality inspection techniques.
Comprehension of customer specifications and blue prints.
Understanding of CNC machine capabilities.
Must be self-motivated, organized, willing to learn and ready to work in a fast paced environment.

This position will require an employee to perform the following functions effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective use of a computer keyboard.
Effective use of telephone and other applicable electronic communication equipment.
View and read documents, and computer monitors.
View machines and other operations as part of the manufacturing process.
Verbal communication with department managers and plant personnel.
Position will generally require sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Lift and carry a minimum of 10 lbs.
Occasional requirements may include standing for prolonged periods, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.
