Strategic Systems Programs Office PROGRAM MANAGER (TEAM LEAD) in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (TEAM LEAD) in the NUCLEAR WEAPONS SURETY ACQUISITION & OPERATIONS BRANCH (SP32) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. Responsibilities You will lead strategic planning to determine goals, objectives, direction, and priorities of the program to meet mission critical requirements. You will plan and oversee execution and evaluation of the highly complex program load within Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to meet long-term strategic priorities. You will provide high-level expertise and advice on planning and managing the long term strategic goals in accordance with the long-terms ESS strategic plan You will oversee and manage the development and defense of budget estimates to senior leadership to satisfy fleet requirements. You will be responsible for preparing, consolidating, and finalizing major reports/updates. You will oversee the execution of project associated contract actions to meet contract award schedules. You will make decisions and initiate actions that involve the interpretation of policy or the setting of precedents, sometimes significantly changing, interpreting, or developing respective high-level policies/guidance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing strategic program planning to achieve desired results for the mission program requirements, while overseeing executions and evaluations of complex programs.
