Robert Half Back End Developer in Waterbury, Connecticut
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Back End Developer to join our team. The role is based in Waterbury, Connecticut, and involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain server-side logic using C# and .Net.
• Create code and libraries to be reused, optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement data storage solutions using databases.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and project managers using JIRA to align on project requirements and timelines.
• Utilize React.js to build user-facing components and implement them with server-side logic.
• Deploy applications on cloud-based platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Use GIT for version controlling and regularly committing changes.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back-end.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Integrate the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in JIRA
• Advanced knowledge in C# - Sharp
• Proficiency in .NET
• Experience with React.js
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in GIT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with test-driven development
