Position Purpose
Trinity Health of New England is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in our Acute Care rehabilitation department at Saint Mary's Hospital.
The Speech Language Pathologist responsible for performing evaluations, direct patient treatment, and documentation for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficit, neurological disorders, swallowing/oral motor impairment. SLP identifies appropriate goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals.
What will you do:
Performs comprehensive evaluations.
Establishes functional goals based upon evaluation results targeting deficit areas, to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.,
completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
State of Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
