Conagra Industrial Maintenance - Pudding Plant in Waterloo, Iowa

Shift: This role is 5th Shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $25.65 an hour + $1.40 shift differential

We are celebrating our 26th Anniversary and are looking for people to join our team. You will join a long tenured and experienced crew while receiving on the job training before doing the role independently. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work onsite on a small team of fellow Technicians. You will oversee the production processes in the manufacture of Snack Pack Pudding and will operate a sit-down forklift throughout your shift. We are a tobacco free facility.

Internally, this role is referred to as a Production Technician.

Job Details:

Schedule: 2-2-3 | 7pm - 7:30am | Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday - Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Starting Pay: Up to $31.15/hour + shift differential.

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain assigned equipment.

  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections/maintenance tasks.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures within the assigned work area.

  • Perform product checks to verify quality measures.

  • Complete equipment sanitation.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities with a focus on developing efficient processes.

  • Identify any safety, quality or operational issues to the appropriate resources.

  • Maintain a clean work area and follow all 5S requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

  • One year of Maintenance Experience

Work Environment Requirements:

  • You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions including moderate noise levels.

  • You will lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

  • You will move within office and manufacturing facilities, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
