WIS PAK - WATERTOWN Quality Assurance Tech in WATERTOWN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Quality Assurance Technicians 2nd Shift - 1:30pm- 10:00pm ( Monday-Friday) Wis-Pak Inc., is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Klarbrunn, Bubbl\'r and other leading beverages.We are currently seeking full-time Quality Assurance Technicians at its Watertown, WI facility. Hours on 2nd shift are 1:30 pm to 10:00pm Sunday night to Thursday morning with the potential for overtime work. Starting rate \$22.25/ hour plus 1.50 shift premium on the 2nd and 3rd shift. Job Summary Safely and efficiently follow pre-determined, approved procedures to ensure the manufacture of a safe and legal product and perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Person and Management. Job Duties / Essential Functions * Receive and place raw materials in inventory * Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport them to the syrup room for mixing * Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures * Run control drink on finished syrups to ensure the taste and quality * Unload liquid sweetener trucks Prepare line equipment for running product and monitoring the process * Sanitize batch tanks and equipment * Maintain records and logs of procedures, results and problems. Make adjustments as needed * Utilize laboratory test equipment and apparatus to perform product quality tests, inspect raw material, and to perform bacteriology, CO2 and HPLC testing * Maintain files and test results; record corrective procedures, control reports and supporting data in accordance with prescribed procedures * Perform production line set-up and monitor the process; Troubleshoot and record problems * Maintain and back wash the water treating system; monitor and maintain the RO water systems * Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures in work area * Comply with all plant and food safety, FSMA (HACCP & HARPC), GMP, and sanitation regulations Job Qualifications * Requires education equivalent of four years of high school * Requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations * Requires a general understanding of chemicals * Requires effective communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions * Previous computer experience is helpful * Requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs on a daily basis * Frequently climb stairs, reach above shoulders, bend and twist at waist *...
