About the unit
As a team member in the radiology unit, you have the opportunity to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.

The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Scope of work
Perform a wide range of general diagnostic imaging procedures in the imaging department, in surgery and the Emergency Department, and at the patient’s bedside. Proficiently operate imaging equipment. Utilize the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Apply principles of radiation safety and practices ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Perform EHR clerical functions related to patient chart documentation.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma
1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Required.
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
