Josselyn Clinical Services Site Supervisor in Waukegan, Illinois

Job Summary

The Clinical Services Site Supervisor is responsible for supervision and oversight of all clinical and service functions of assigned clinical supervisors and staff at one Josselyn location. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for milieu management, understanding of policies and procedures, and represent Josselyn with integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical supervisors, staff, and interns, ensuring compliance with productivity requirements, assessments, and documentation

  • Monitor and approve staff work and vacation schedules to meet the needs of the center

  • Be available to handle crisis requests for site and front office staff

  • Coordinate intake functions when intake coordinator is unavailable

  • Provide training on EMR functionality and serve as a resource for troubleshooting

  • Manage the schedule, payroll, performance, and employee development goals of staff

  • Be a strong presence for milieu management of the site

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of Josselyn policies and procedures among staff

  • Demonstrate proficiency in confidentiality, client rights, safety, infection control, incident reporting, and personnel policies

  • Cooperate in performance improvement activities, committee work, and mandatory in services when requested

  • Collaborate effectively with other supervisors

  • Maintain 15-30% direct service productivity dependent on number of staff (between 10-15)

  • Represent the agency with integrity and professionalism

  • Adhere to the ethical statement of the agency and safeguard confidentiality

  • Participate in community-related services as appropriate

Qualifications

  • License for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health i.e. LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Psy.D or PhD.

  • Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive and successful clinical supervision experience preferable in an outpateint mental health setting

  • Demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve in both short and long term contexts

  • Working knowledge of best practices in clinical counseling in the field of mental health
