The (ZAP)Zion Apartment Programtargets the population of clients with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and who are experiencing homelessnessinaddition, to providing the necessary supportive skills to function in the community to obtain independence.
Counselor II Key responsibilities
Evaluating and assessing clients.
Prepares and implements treatment plans with clients.
Provides therapeutic and supportive services to clients, including individual, group, and family counseling and case management.
Prepares and presents education seminars to clients, their families, the general public and other service providers on chemical dependency and/or mental health.
Case management activities are generally community-based.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field, or
- Bachelors in any field and two (2) years experience, or
- High School diploma or GED and five (5) years experience
\ Scheduled Hours: 24 hours a week
- Friday- Monday 7am-1:30pm
- \$5.00 per hour shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium
