Job Summary
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the management, organization, and oversight of all clinical staff and service functions including Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Community Support, IPS, and IOP services.
Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical supervisors assuring staff compliance with clinical, administrative, organizational responsibilities including productivity.
Supervise IOP assistant director, develop IOP programming for children 8-18 and maintain a 30 client minimum census
Actively Work with Mission Advancement and Community partners to build referral pipeline for programming.
Develop and operationalize policies and procedures and train staff for adherence.
Participate cooperatively in performance improvement activities, committee work, when requested, mandatory in-services, and strategic planning.
Represent the Center with integrity, abide by the ethical statement of the Center and protect confidentiality
Knowledge and operationalization of confidentiality, client rights, safety, infection control, incident and sentinel event reporting, and personnel policies
Works with other Directors, Chief Compliance officer, Director of Quality, and Chief Clinical officer to prepare for CARF and BALC audits
Qualifications
Licensed for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health or related field
Competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration
Previous experience working under Rule132/140
Minimum of 5 years of progressive and successful clinical management experience including IOP/PHP programming
Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve in both short- and long-term contexts
