QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Waukegan, IL. This is a temporary position for 1st or 2nd shift.
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\ - Keep the work areas clean and organized.\ - Keep machines supplied with paper, ink, wax, and glue.\ - Change paper rolls.\ - Change printing plates.\ - Packing as needed.\ - Set up, run, and troubleshoot bag converting and flexographic printers.\ - Keep machines supplied with paper rolls, ink, glue, and wax.\ - Touchscreen entry on new machines, knobs and manual adjustments on old machines.\ - Set formers, gears, and cylinders for paper set up.\ - Maintain levels of ink, glue, and hot wax.\ - Maintain machine speeds and keep machine running.\ - Troubleshoot problems.\ - Inspect the bags or food wraps.\ - Use tools, tape measure, wrenches, screw drivers.
