Actalent Quality Control Technician in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin

Job Title: Quality Control TechnicianJob Description

Perform QC testing on the production floor including metal detection checks, leak tests, percentage tests, and more. Conduct line audits hourly on each production line covering 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections/QC tests. Calculate material percentages and total ounces. Execute basic tests including moisture, salt, and fat content using automated testing methods. Document daily numbers and testing performed both on paper and computer. Collaborate with production personnel daily to conduct QC checks and assist in correcting any errors.

This is a fully on-site position in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic team in a smaller food manufacturing company that produces large volumes for major customers. The role requires working Monday through Friday, with mandatory Saturdays. First shift typically starts at 4:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., and second shift starts at around 1:00 p.m., with working hours ranging from 8-10 hours per day depending on the season and workload. Be prepared for cross-training in all aspects of the quality department, with varying daily tasks, and mandatory overtime.
