ManpowerGroup Senior Industrial Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Our client, a global consumer/commercial power energy manufacturing company, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Production Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in time studies, line balancing, cost analysis, component allocation, workflow improvement and new tooling and fixture identification for a “green field” project. The project involves the movement of a manufacturing facility to another company site and waste elimination to improve efficiency in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Eagle, WI

Pay: $50-60/hr plus OT, benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for area layouts, process definition, and equipment justification, selection, and implementation.

  • Lead and ensure ongoing success of process improvement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and process documentation.

  • Lead and ensure product, material and information streams flow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.

  • Leader in creation of innovative ideas to improve business results.

  • Work closely with shop floor personnel to promote ongoing Continuous Improvement of manufacturing methods, systems and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology; and 5+ years related Knowledge of lean principles and process improvements;

  • Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Solid Works and/or ProE);

  • Experience in the Engineering function within a similar working environment;

  • Knowledge of lean principles and process improvements;

  • Proven track record of successfully managing shifting deadlines and priorities in a fast paced environment.
