Job Title: Workers Compensation Claims Analyst

Job Description

Join our team as a Workers' Compensation Claims Handler at our plant location. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, quality claims handling, and effective loss cost management.

Duties

  • Set up and enter new claims into claim management system ensuring claim coding is correct and files are properly documented

  • Perform critical claim technical tasks including plant investigations and 3-point contacts

  • Interview claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel and witnesses and prepare thorough investigation summaries

  • Prepare files for outside counsel

  • Assist in management of all elements of claim files to reduce or maintain medical costs, lost time duration and litigation expenses

  • Participate in case management meetings and collaborate with medical, human resources and labor to facilitate a return to-work plan for workers’ compensation and related absences

  • Supports other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims as necessary

  • Process medical and related expense payments
