Job Title: Workers Compensation Claims Analyst
Job Description
Join our team as a Workers' Compensation Claims Handler at our plant location. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, quality claims handling, and effective loss cost management.
Duties
Set up and enter new claims into claim management system ensuring claim coding is correct and files are properly documented
Perform critical claim technical tasks including plant investigations and 3-point contacts
Interview claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel and witnesses and prepare thorough investigation summaries
Prepare files for outside counsel
Assist in management of all elements of claim files to reduce or maintain medical costs, lost time duration and litigation expenses
Participate in case management meetings and collaborate with medical, human resources and labor to facilitate a return to-work plan for workers’ compensation and related absences
Supports other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims as necessary
Process medical and related expense payments
Soft Skills
Ability to interpret and analyze complex information
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
Organize and prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work a flexible work schedule
Maintain professional client relationships
